International patients

We treat families travelling from outside Spain. These are the questions they usually ask first.

Languages
We work in Spanish and English. Portuguese-speaking families receive communication support, and clinical documentation can be provided in English on request.
A remote first assessment
You do not need to travel to begin. The initial assessment can be done by email or video call, in the family's preferred language.
How long treatment lasts
There is no standard duration. Many families choose stays of four to six months for intensive phases. The medical team sets an estimated duration at the initial assessment.
Every case is looked at individually
The above are reference points, not a fixed package. The stay, the timetable and how treatment is organised are agreed with the centre and adapted to what each patient needs.
Where to stay
Foltra provides access to apartments for patients and families. Santiago de Compostela has hotels, tourist apartments and rural houses, all 10–20 minutes from the centre.
